SUMMARY:

Through this Request for Proposals, the District of Lake Country invites submissions to perform comprehensive corridor improvements along Okanagan Centre Road East in Lake Country, BC between Jardines Road to Williams Road, including both intersections and realignment of Jardines Road.

 

The Work for this project has 2 primary components and can be generally summarized as follows:

  1. Utility, Road, and Intersection Improvements:
  • Full-depth road reconstruction and addition of Active Transportation infrastructure.
  • Full-length Storm Sewer main construction, including installation of dry-wells and catch basins
  • Relocation of Jardines Rd Watermain, including a tie-in to an existing Asbestos Cement watermain.
  • Over-excavation and rough grading of a swale in the location of the current Jardines Rd alignment.
  1. Booster Pump Station Landscaping and Irrigation:
  • Removal of existing landscaping and irrigation system
  • New landscaping
  • Detailing, supply, and installation of new drip irrigation system

Substantial Performance for all Work must be achieved no later than October 1, 2021.
