SUMMARY:

Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Lake Country (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing corridor improvement works along Pretty Road in Lake Country, BC. 

Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.  A summary of the Work is as follows:

Location: The Place of the Work is Pretty Road, Lake Country, BC, as shown on the Drawings.

Maximum Budget: No maximum budget is being stated for this RFP.

Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:

• The Work may commence anytime on or after: April 2, 2024.
• Substantial Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than: October 18,2024
• Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than 30 calendar days following Substantial Performance.
• The maximum duration of the Work, from commencement of the work onsite until Substantial Performance is achieved, must not exceed 16 weeks in total duration.  The Work must be performed continuously.

Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.
