Summary: Through this Request for Pre-Qualifications, the District of Lake Country invites submissions from experienced construction general contractors and construction management organizations that are interested in performing the following services and work for the construction of upgrades and improvements to the District’s Biological Nutrient Removal Wastewater Treatment Plant Facility (the “WWTP”) located at 4062 Beaver Lake Road, Lake Country (including the nearby Lodge Road Lift Station). The Construction Management for Services and Construction to be performed, as broadly defined by CCDC5B, shall include the following phases: • Design Development Phase Services • Construction Document Phase Services • Construction Phase Services and the Work • Post Construction Phase Services A Feasibility Study for the Phase 4 upgrades was completed in May 2020 (attached as Appendix B) and provides an overview of the potential project. The District has now selected the Design Engineer (WSP Canada) to perform the design and engineering for the project, and preliminary design is currently underway. Preliminary Design is due to be completed on September 30, 2020, with Detailed Design (Ready for Tender) to be complete by March 15, 2021. Construction is scheduled to occur from May 2021 to February 2022. document. |
