SUMMARY:

Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Lake Country (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing pavement renewal works as one combined contract for the following 3 separate road locations in Lake Country:

  • Approximately 2520 square meters along Glenmore Road.
  • Approximately 4860 square meters along Okanagan Centre Road West.
  • Approximately 920 square meters along Sherman Drive.

Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP, including the referenced Contract Drawings. 

Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:

  • The Work may commence anytime after: August 9, 2024
  • Substantial Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than: October 15th 2024, except that all Mill and Fill for Sherman Drive (as shown on the Schedule of Quantities & Prices) must be complete no later than August 30, 2024 in order to avoid conflict with Peter Greer Elementary School access.
  • Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than: October 30, 2024

Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.
