Summary: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Lake Country (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing construction of the new Multi-Generational Activity Centre (MAC), plus upgrades to the existing Seniors Centre, Arena and surrounding site at the Nexus complex, as detailed further in Divisions 1 to 33 plus Exhibits A to F of this RFP. Location: The location of the work is 9830 Bottom Wood Lake Road, Lake Country, BC.Schedule: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work: • The new MAC building must be ready for occupancy no later than July 31, 2020 • Substantial Performance for all Work must be achieved no later than October 31, 2020. Construction Budget: The District has a maximum budget of $6 million (excluding GST) for all work, including all items identified in this RFP as “Optional Work”. Full details on the work requirements, specifications and drawings are provided the attached RFP document, plus Exhibits.
