SUMMARY: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Lake Country (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing works to further develop and revitalize Swalwell Park, which is a key recreation hub of the District’s park system, located at 10070 Bottom Wood Lake, Lake Country, BC. Work Summary: the Work of this Contract will include, but is not limited to, the following:
Work Schedule: the District is providing Respondents with two possible construction windows in order to complete all Work, to enable Respondents to choose their most cost-efficient construction schedule when submitting a Proposal to this RFP. As a result, the only minimum Construction Schedule requirements for evaluation as part of this RFP are that the Work is completed to achieve the Milestone Dates in one of the following two ‘Work Window’ Options:
Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP. Further details on the requirements and how to submit a proposal are contained in the attached RFP Documents. Respondents should note that names of ‘Registered Plan-takers’ for this RFP will appear publicly in the Bids&Tenders System. |
